Rakhi responds that she approached him outside of court and asked him to take back the case, and he accepted. Rishab and Mahesh both inquire as to why. Preeta and Rishab both inquire as to how she came to know him. Angrily admonishing them both to put an end to their hatred as relationships can only flourish through love, Rakhi replies that she is aware of his tendency to make mistakes, just like Karan, but that he has never intended to hurt anyone. They all know that it was impossible to exonerate Rishab of all the accusations leveled against him, so Rakhi asks them to try and understand. She believes Arjun is not a particularly bad person because he accepted full responsibility.Arjun put an end to the hearing using the only available strategy. In response to Rakhi's query about who, in contemporary times, stands for the truth, she declares that she wants Arjun to move on from everything because she believes he is not a bad person and that Rishab is the only one she needs to worry about. She further asks, "What is the need for this hatred and fights, so can they not give him another chance?" Rakhi counsels them to put this argument behind them because life is too short to fight constantly. When Rakhi questions Sameer about her claim that Arjun is Bhagwan, Sameer responds that he agrees that Arjun came to court but also attempted to kill Rishab bhai.However, they can also give him a second chance and forgive him for everything. Rakhi queries whether they can both overlook his actions.
When Dadi asks Rakhi how they would proceed after he injured the entire Luthra family, Karina responds in agreement with Dadi, stating that even if Arjun accepted responsibility, how could they all forgive him. Rishab protests that it is not like that and walks over to Rakhi to say that she is the mother and if she wants him to see Arjun, he will go since he can take care of everything for his family. Rakhi then goes on to state that he is not an outsider and they all meet him repeatedly. Preeta responds, "Even I would come with him," when Rishab tells her he's going to meet Arjun.
Arjun is constantly drinking in the room while contemplating the time Rakhi slapped him and Preeta filed the restraining order against him, promising to fight Arjun and aid in the release of Rishab jee. Arjun is informed by a worker that Rishab Luthra wants to meet him; he responds that he does not want to meet Rishab because he can go to hell; the worker responds that even Preeta mam said the same thing; Arjun then inquires as to whether Preeta also came and agrees to meet them.
Arjun exits the room holding the alcohol bottle, surprised to see Rishab and Preeta discussing how she accused him of using Anjali as payback. When asked what they want, Rishab replies that he came here at his mother's recommendation and that she had asked Arjun to make the confession because she knows how lovely he is. She wants them to put their differences aside and act like decent human beings because he is. Arjun responds that he always looks out for number one, pointing to Preeta as evidence that she claimed he is a bad person who uses women to fight his wars. Rishab explains that his mother believes Arjun is like Karan because even he would not have intended to harm anyone but did so, she said she is glad that he was ousted from the lives of the Luthra’s and she is glad, Rishab seeing his advances stop Arjun who explains the reason he gave the confession was because of Preeta, he does everything for her. Arjun exclaims what is the need to be shocked when Preeta mentioned she would oust him from the lives of Luthra’s and kavya. Arjun mentions he broke Rishab out of the jail so he can live with Preeta because if he was not with her and he broke all the promises which she made, so they would say he defeated a woman when the game should be of equality.
Rishab questions what Arjun is saying because he came here to settle everything, but Arjun is insistent on exacting revenge, and he says they do not realize what mistake they have made. Arjun declares that he will not stab them as they did and will not allow Karan's innocence to be turned into foolishness while exacting revenge for everything. Arjun declares angrily that he will exact revenge on Karan. Rishab responds angrily that he came here to put an end to all of the arguments because his mother told him to, but Arjun is dragging his brother instead. Rishab cautions Arjun not to follow that course.
Rakhi hands Mahesh his pajamas as he stops her and inquires about whether she wants Rishab and Arjun to become friends and whether she does not believe he is a very crazy person. They saw that Arjun took the blame because he realized his error, and Rakhi responds that she thinks they have misunderstood him because he occasionally makes decisions in a rage. Mahesh responds that he is concerned for her because Arjun is really bad and she is showing a lot of love for him.
When Rishab inquires as to what he is saying, Arjun responds that he would give them time to be ready, but if Rishab backs out, he would understand and publicly announce the truth about their marriage while also marrying Preeta. As Dadi and Anjali exit in amazement, Rishab smacks Arjun in a fit of rage and warns him not to even mention Preeta. Preeta is visibly agitated.
